Shipping Policy

At H3R Performance, we strive to keep our shipping costs as low as possible – and we never charge handling fees. See our shipping policies and procedures below

Hazmat Shipping:
Fire Extinguishers are classified as Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) by the Department of Transportation due to the cylinders being under pressure. Carriers will NOT ship hazmat to a PO Box, so you must provide a physical address when placing your order.

HAZMAT shipping regulations can also affect which carriers and shipping methods we are able to offer.

Expedited or Overnight Shipping:
Due to the additional costs and time involved in shipping hazardous materials by air, WE DO NOT OFFER AIR OR EXPEDITED SHIPPING.

If you need to order an extinguisher for a specific event or date, please place your order well in advance. We can also direct you to a retailer partner nearest you.

Shipping Rates:
Shipping rates are calculated based on the weight, size of the item and the shipping destination. Customers can view the shipping cost on the checkout page before making a payment.

Orders over $100 get free shipping via the most economical method available. Your order will default to the “Free Shipping” method. If you select a shipping method other than “Free Shipping”you will be charged for shipping.

Processing Time:
Orders received before 12 p.m. Pacific Time are shipped the same day. Orders received after the 12 p.m. cut-off may not be shipped until the next business day. Once your order is processed, we will send you an email confirmation with your order details and tracking information.

Please note: During high-volume periods such as major holidays or sale events the processing time may be a bit longer. Thank you for your patience while we work to ship your order as quickly as possible.

Shipping Methods:
We offer two shipping methods:

UPS Ground (1-6 business days)
USPS Priority Mail (not available for fire extinguishers, 1-7 business days)
Please note that delivery times are estimated and not guaranteed.

Local Pickup:
If you are able to pick up from our Petaluma, CA location, you may choose the local pickup option at checkout. Processing times are the same as outlined above. You will receive an email notification when your order is ready for pickup. Our warehouse hours are:

Monday-Friday: 8 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Pacific Time

We close for major holidays and will include any change in hours in your pickup notification email.

Domestic Shipping:
Due to hazmat regulations, we do not ship outside of the contiguous United States.

International Shipping:
We do not ship outside of the United States. This is due to hazmat regulations for international shipping. Some of our distributors may be able to ship to your country and if you would like more information please contact our customer service at h3rinfo@h3rperformance.com

Order Tracking:
You will receive an email with a tracking number when your order ships. You can use this number to track your order.

Delivery Issues:
If you experience any delivery issues, please contact the carrier as soon as possible. If you have problems let us know if we can assist you. We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages once they have been delivered to the shipping address provided at the time of checkout. Our customer service email is h3rinfo@h3rperformance.com
