Interferes with manual seats

Once the bracket is mounted you can still adjust the manual seat slider on a ‘25 F-150 XL but once a 2.5lb extinguisher is mounted it can no longer be adjusted, which makes it unusable for a work truck with different drivers.

Great mount!

I’ve had it installed for a week and it’s solid! I’d recommend unbolting the seat to do the install. It would be extremely difficult otherwise. The bracket fit like an OEM piece just like the instructions describe. The screws are tiny, so a magnetic driver is best. Easy to drop in the plastic structure holding the electrical components of the seat. Ask me how I know! But, I was able to fish or shake out the couple out that I dropped! Works great with the quick detach.

We are glad to hear you are pleased with the Ford Seat Mount you installed. It is easily the cleanest most OE looking fire extinguisher mount and will allow the quickest reaction time possible in case of a fire. Removing the seat is indeed a seriously good idea, so you can actually see what you are doing. The F series trucks seats are much higher so they're a bit easier to see under there when installing, thank you for your input on better installation. :) As for the dropping of hardware into tight spaces, aint that the truth. Hardware always finds a small space to fall into, I am glad you were able to get it out!
