Our Jeep Wrangler JL fire extinguisher mount fits the 2018-2023 four-door models (“JLU”) and provides a secure platform for installing any H3R Performance flat surface fire extinguisher mounting bracket. This includes our standard bracket, provided with the extinguisher, as well as the optional ProLock, and Extreme Duty flat surface brackets (purchased separately).
- Attaches to the rear roll cage utilizing the factory mounting points (requires tapping)
- Includes mounting hardware with self-tapping screw
- Pre-drilled and threaded for H3R Performance brackets

We highly recommend removing the top of the vehicle during installation to ensure perfect alignment and to provide sufficient force for the tapping bolt to function properly. Failure to do so may result in the tapping bolt breaking and potentially damaging the vehicle.

Fit and function were perfect, after reading the instructions and watching videos and not removing the top, I used a 3/8-16 tap and threaded the top mounting hole. Then assembled. Very happy !

Mount is solid but be careful with the self tapping bolt. Maybe use a regular tap on it.
