This is the only one that could be improved with a stainless steel part.

Installed behind front passenger seat in my 2016 Porsche 991.1 by sliding included large brackets under seat rail and using existing rail bolts. Within easy reach but out of the way.

I bought this for my 2017 RAM Rebel and it fit PERFECTLY. (Just for S&Gs, I also installed it in my 2008 Dodge Dakota just to see if it fit - it did...again perfectly.) The Seat Mount was nicely and carefully packaged. The fit and finish of all the powder-coated aluminum parts are first-rate and everything is very well made with no visible casting/extruding marks. The screws, washers and nuts were in their own plastic bag. The instructions are very detailed. Just remember to measure the center-point of each of your chosen front seat's mounting bolts before you jump into this. Taking this measurement up front will allow you to screw some things down tightly BEFORE the mount is affixed to the vehicle. Additionally, leave the larger hex nuts and bolts hand-tight until all of your adjustments are complete and you are happy with not only the position of the extinguisher on the mount, but the mount's up/down/left/right position in relation to the seat front and the back of your legs. Be sure to operate/move your seat back/forth and up/down once everything is installed to see if the mount/extinguisher combo has affected your seat's horizontal/vertical travel -- if so, make a mental note of the changes. I used this SM01BK Seat Mount with an NB300 Bracket and a gnarly black 2.5 Extinguisher. I cannot recommend these pieces of gear enough.

Seating brackets will not fit on seat rails or under the seat in the Mitsubishi Montero/Pajero/Shogun from years 2001-2021
I guess the meaning of universal only applies to a majority of cars and trucks. Even though the seat mount design in the Pajero is extremely common. I’ll now have to make custom brackets to attach the universal bracket on my car as I’m already 400$ into it between the bracket and fire extinguisher. I don’t recommend unless you drive something like a Civic or F-150 where they’re everywhere.

Excellent kit, but you all skimped on the included hardware. It comes with 4 Phillips head screws, 4 lock nuts, and 3 washers, to secure the actual fire extinguisher bracket, in my case the NB300. That bracket has 6 holes for securing, but even with 4, I’m missing a washer. My combined cost for fire extinguisher, bracket, and this universal mount was nearly $400, but I have to drive to Home Depot to purchase a couple dollars worth of hardware. Great product, but this should have been provided for the premium cost of these kits.
